A recent Computer Science graduate from Saint Louis University (May 2026) based in Baguio, Philippines. I gravitate toward the whole stack — architecting the database, designing accessible UI, wiring the API, and deploying to the cloud.     "Evaluating Performance of LLMs as RAG-Transformer Models for Generating Programming Course Study Aids" · Saint Louis University

    • Built a RAG pipeline with BERT embeddings & sentence-transformers/all-MiniLM-L6-v2 to retrieve CP1 / CP2 passages, feeding GPT and Claude for quiz & flashcard generation.
    • Applied IDF-weighted BERTScore (RoBERTa-large) to boost domain-specific Java & OOP terminology and measure curriculum fidelity.
    • Claude reached a +12% Precision and +7% F1 gain with RAG enabled, edging GPT's +10% / +6%; both converged to ~83 F1 under RAG.
    • Extracted text from PDFs using PyMuPDF + Tesseract OCR, then a multi-stage cleaning pipeline repairing split/conjoined tokens and removing boilerplate.
